Editing

The editing process begins during the original planning of the project with storyboards and a schematic of the progressive scenes and transitions of the entire program. However, the process of creating is one that is always in flux and constant change as the story makes and remakes itself throughout the production phase. There are meetings with the editor and cameraman prior to major scenes to analyse storyboards and plan the subsequent production.

Many hours of documentary video footage, animation, theatrical scenes and other visual and sound elements are a vast amount of raw material that must be reviewed and catalogued shot by shot and organized to correspond with the schematic plan.

Our editor Eric Ladenburg brings his fresh perspective and experience into the mix and in creative collaboration we review the plan then proceed one scene at a time. Working with Eric the editing process focuses the flux into a cohesive flowing work.
